Frost Ring On Pears

If you notice marks like this on your Pears or Apples this season they are called frost rings. This is caused by late frost on young fruit. If the frost hits the fruit at a very young age the fruit may never mature or may stay very small and shriveled. If they do mature and look like this pear they are still fine to eat. If you decide that you don’t want them I promise the deer will not pass them up!
