Christmas Gift Certificate

When planting Oak trees remember that variety is better. No one Oak Tree is the next silver bullet.Mix oaks with Reds & Whites to get constant production and staggered drop.Remember that all trees do not produce every year and to insure some sort of crop plant more than one variety. One example is the Nuttall Oak(Red Oak) fast growth that can have acorns in 7-10 years and drops them in December/Jan.Another favorite Chinquapin Oak(White Oak) Produces at a very early age.

When thinking fruit trees you can never miss by planting a pear. Why Pears?

> Pears are the easiest fruit tree to grow

> Most Pears are Disease Resistant

> Pears can be planted in many different types of soils

> Pears are very consistent producers

Please order early to insure availability !!! We also have Pears in 7 gallon & 15 gallon containers. The 15 gallon container  pears produced this season. We can ship the containers to a business address via Southeastern Freight....

Quantities will be limited so place your orders early to insure availability!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also for everyone that has trees planted in the Plantra Jump start tubes. When fall arrives and the temperatures start dropping ants will migrate to the warmth of the tubes. If you allow them to build the mounds inside the tubes it can damage and possibly kill your trees.Be preventive and spread ant bait around the trees.Do this at least a couple of times in the next two months and you should have no problem. One last reminder on the tubes . Please don't just walk up and grab them and look down inside during the summer months.Wasp are notorious for building nest inside .Believe me I learned from experience.
